Support to State Training Activities category Programmes are designed to develop knowledge of different areas, management skills, sensitise officers of senior and middle level of State Governments, State Public Sector Undertakings and State Autonomous Bodies to important issues. These Programmes are conducted primarily in the apex Training Institutes of the States.
The Programmes cover a large variety of subjects under the broad thematic groups viz. Computer Awareness and IT, Participatory Administration, Decentralised Planning and Governance, Change Management-Disaster Management, State Financial Management, Gender Issues, Human Rights , Ethics and Human Values, Training at District and Sub State Learning Centre etc..
Nominations for the Programmes are called for by the concerned institutes which circulate the details of the courses to be conducted. The nominations for the Programmes should be sent in the prescribed format duly signed and forwarded by the concerned administrative authority to the training institutions directly.
The Training Division pays a lump-sum course fee to the institutes conducting the programmes and no course fee is required to be paid either by the participants themselves or by their sponsoring authorities. The sponsoring authorities have, however, to bear the travelling and daily allowance of the participants.
